At the MILAVIT Charity Fun Run and Health Day in Kétegyháza on 24 September 2023, a total of HUF 730,000 was raised for three-year-old Zsófi Szabó, who suffers from a rare genetic disease. The event was jointly organised by the Innovative Research and Development for Health Care Foundation and the Municipality of Kétegyháza, with the support of Carbon Medical and MILAVIT dietary supplements.
Alongside the charity run and cycling, visitors could enjoy exciting, family-friendly programmes: a puppet show, musical shows for children, folk dance performances, health screenings, hair braiding, face painting, glitter tattoos, a shared lunch, food tasting, a raffle and a concert by Ámokfutók. Runners received a special commemorative medal.
The donation covers nearly four months of Zsófi’s treatment.
Thanks to the sponsors, the participants and the whole community, the donation was handed over to Zsófi and her mother by Laura Szatmári on behalf of the foundation and by the mayor of Kétegyháza, Dr. Emese Rákócziné Tripon.
