Making rapid tests available
Thanks to wide-ranging innovation in medical diagnostics, many diseases can now be detected with nothing more than a rapid test. Our foundation strives to ensure that everyone in need can access these tests in time – even free of charge.
We are in constant contact with many manufacturers of medical diagnostic devices worldwide, and we keep looking for new manufacturers and products to expand our portfolio. Unfortunately, we have often come across unreliable manufacturers who make our work particularly difficult.
That is why we work closely with NNGYK (the Hungarian National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy, formerly OGYÉI), who readily help us choose the right manufacturers and bring products to market. Since the authorisation of some products can take a long time – and is costly – our task is far from easy.
Our ultimate goal: that people who truly need them receive screening tools in time – and ideally free of charge.
